Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits is Hiring an Inventory Control Coordinator (Union) Near Syosset, NY
- Verify all receiving and transfer reports.
- Maintain and verify completeness of receiving documentation, and filing.
- Input receiving data for outside warehouses.
- Process and release warehouse, inter-company and supplier transfers.
- Maintain and update computer receiving logs.
- Maintain and update the spoils and/or damages to inventory in all warehouse locations.
- Reconcile inter-company and suppler inventory discrepancies.
- Work and communicate with various departments on inventory.
- Resolve internal and external customer issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Support internal and external audits, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalency plus 2 years of experience, preferably in inventory accounting
- Knowledge with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), federal regulatory guidelines, and organizational objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles. Microsoft Office with focus on basic Excel knowledge.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
- Team player, energetic, self-starter, motivator.
- Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time may include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
- Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
- May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
